Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) in Peoria, IL to provide comprehensive patient care within an interdisciplinary team. Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) per IDFPR.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• ACLS within 1 year, BLS within 30 days.
• RN work experience and lab specimen collection knowledge.
• Equipment troubleshooting and evidence-based nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage patient care as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Promote evidence-based nursing through protocols and procedures.
• Assess patient status via interviews, observation, and exams.
• Develop individualized care plans with patients and families.
• Implement and document patient progress; adjust plans as needed.
• Coordinate care from admission to discharge.
• Troubleshoot clinical equipment and perform bedside lab testing.
• Provide shift reports and advocate for patients with physicians.
• Educate patients and families with appropriate strategies.
• Participate in audits, process improvements, and patient satisfaction activities.
• Share clinical knowledge and promote team development.
