Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cath Lab. The RN will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care before, during, and after catheterization procedures, following physician orders and hospital protocols.

The shift is 4x10s from 7:00am to 5:30pm with one day of call per week and every 5th weekend. Benefits include loan repayment up to $20k, plus medical, vision, dental, and 401k match for full- and part-time roles.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required

Responsabilités

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in accordance with nursing process and policies.
• Documents findings and reports changes in condition to care team.
• Administers medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency and scope.
• Educates patients and families about conditions and post-discharge care.
• Implements and adheres to infection control protocols.
