MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Invasive Cardiology (Cath Lab) department in Long Beach. The role involves circulating and scrubbing procedures, with 10-hour day shifts, on-call after hours, weekends and holidays.

Qualified candidates will have BSN, California RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications and prior critical care and Cath Lab experience; two years ICU experience preferred. A $10,000 signing bonus is offered to external hires.

Qualifications

• Two years Critical Care Nursing experience preferred.
• One year Cath Lab, Vascular Lab and/or EP Lab experience preferred.
• California Registered Nursing (RN) License required.
• BSN required unless waived by nurse executive council review.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Card required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Card required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Card required.

Responsabilités

• Circulate and scrub all procedures performed in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
• Provide safe, cost-effective patient care within the nursing process and standards.
• Collaborate with team and communicate effectively with staff and patients.
