Job summary

HCA Florida University Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse to contribute to patient care excellence in a fast-paced lab environment in Florida. The role emphasizes collaboration with management and participation in hospital councils and nursing initiatives to shape care decisions.

The RN will apply critical thinking, lead nursing care planning, and ensure adherence to nursing standards and physician orders within hospital policies. A supportive, career-building environment is offered.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN - Registered Nurse.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• 3 years Cath Lab RN experience.
• EP RN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and provide nursing care to patients per Florida Nurse Practice Act.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and leadership in patient care.
• Follow physician orders and established hospital policies.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, physician’s orders, recognized nursing techniques, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• 3 years of Cath Lab RN experience
• EP RN preferred
