Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging across clinic, hospital, ED, and OR settings. This role offers opportunities for advancement into CT, MRI, and Mammo with a supportive team environment and a focus on precision for accurate diagnoses.

You'll be part of a close-knit department that works closely with physicians; the position features a sign-on bonus and consistent day shifts with no weekend or holiday calls in many cases.

Qualifications

• Completion of an educational program accepted by the ARRT is required.
• Working knowledge of diagnostic radiographic principles, including positioning, image processing, quality control, and protection is required.
• Registration with the ARRT is required.
• ND licensure may be required for ND locations.
• Iowa permits may be required for certain locations.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks and re-certification as necessary is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging examinations on patients ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
• Ensures accurate patient positioning during radiographic procedures according to provider requests.
• Implements radiation safety guidelines and uses proper radiation protection practices.
• Navigate and utilize the EMR system effectively.
• Perform basic diagnostic radiology tasks and follow standard radiology protocols.
• Perform mobile imaging, EKG, cardiac monitor placement, and DEXA procedures.
