Job summary

Precision-Healthcare seeks a Cath Lab Radiological Technologist for Cynthiana, KY. This 13-week contract offers days, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with pay up to $3,300 gross weekly plus benefits from day 1.

Responsibilities include preparing patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and related procedures; operating X-ray and fluoroscopy equipment; assisting physicians; monitoring vitals; maintaining sterile technique and radiation safety; and supporting vascular access as needed.

Qualifications

• Cath Lab experience required.
• Experience assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Experience operating X-ray and fluoroscopy equipment.
• Experience with patient preparation, positioning, and monitoring.
• Experience maintaining sterile technique and following radiation safety protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, electrophysiology studies, and other cardiovascular procedures.
• Operate specialized imaging equipment, including X-ray and fluoroscopy systems.
• Assist physicians and the cardiovascular team during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Assist with devices such as balloons, stents, and catheters as directed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic parameters.
• Maintain sterile technique and follow radiation safety protocols.
• Assist with vascular access, EKGs, and cardioversions as needed.

• Experience operating X-ray and fluoroscopy equipment

• Local and travel candidates accepted

Certifications:

• ARRT certification required
• BLS required
