Job summary

Murray-Calloway County Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Radiology Tech to join our clinical support team in Murray, KY. The role focuses on cardiovascular/interventional procedures under supervision of the Cath Lab team, with emphasis on patient education and quality assurance.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT eligibility or certification, Kentucky radiation operator license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications; minimum 1 year Cath Lab

Description

The Cath Lab Technologist performs cardiovascular/interventional procedures, patient education, and quality assessment activities for the cardiovascular lab, under the direction of the Cath Lab coordinator, Director of the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Service Line, and the labs interventional physicians. The technologist must also carry out all necessary technical/nontechnical tasks associated with invasive procedures and operation and maintenance of equipment used for such invasive procedures

Minimum Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program or equivalent.

Minimum Work Experience

Minimum of 1 year experience as Cath Lab technologist preferred

Required Licenses

ARRT registered or registry eligible.
Must hold a radiation operator's license in the state of Kentucky.
Current BLS & ACLS certifications
