The Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist is a health care professional who uses high-technology equipment at the direction of a qualified physician to assist with invasive procedures on patients leading to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac, neurological, and peripheral vascular disease.

Schedule: 8-hour DAY shift with start times varying from 6:30a – 7:30a On call 1x per week and every 5th weekend Holiday call required 30-minute call response time required
Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of fifty (50) pounds without assistance Job classification is exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties
Interaction with department members and other healthcare providers May be exposed to communicable diseases when working in a healthcare setting Frequent exposure to sharp objects and instruments Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electric shock Occasional high noise level
