ARMStaffing is seeking a Radiologic Technologist I - Cath Lab for assignment in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. The role involves obtaining diagnostic radiographic examinations in a cath lab setting, supporting physicians, and performing portable x-ray exams, patient positioning, and image processing.

Requirements include AHA BLS, ACLS, RCIS licenses, and at least 3 years preferred; strong communication is essential. Schedule is 4x10s with weekends and holidays required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Produces diagnostic radiographic examinations by positioning patients and selecting proper technical factors.
• Restricts radiation exposure by using cone and collimating devices.
• Performs portable x-ray examinations in patient rooms, operating rooms, and the ED.
• Identifies and marks patient films correctly as per procedures.
• Develops exposed x-ray films using appropriate processing methods.
• Completes administrative duties related to scheduling, patient instructions, film filing, and reception.
