Job summary

Baptist Health's Cath Lab is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for full-time 1st shift. The Cath Lab performs diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, with a multidisciplinary team available 24/7 in a chest-pain accredited facility.

You will operate radiographic equipment, prepare patients, review charts, and communicate findings to nurses and physicians to support safe, high-quality imaging. Requirements include ARRT Radiography, State Radiation Operator Certification, CAHEA program,

Qualifications

ARRT radiography certification required or eligible.
State Radiation Operator Certification required.
Graduate of CAHEA program or equivalent.
BLS and ACLS certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

Accept patients and assess condition to determine proper handling.
Explain and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures.
Review clinical data to alert team to possible contraindications.
Perform exams within the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
Operate radiographic equipment, ensuring high-quality images per ALARA standards.
Handle related clerical duties as needed.
