Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
• Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
• Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).
• 1 year experience in a Cath Lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs special/invasive radiology procedures ensuring compliance with radiation safety procedures.
• Enters and monitors patient data.
• Performs quality assurance on radiology equipment.
• Identifies and reports accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions.
• Takes emergency call within the department.
• Ensures safe care to patients, staff, and visitors.
• Promotes individual professional growth and development.
• Demonstrates commitment to caring for every community member.
