Job summary

ThedaCare is seeking a skilled cardiovascular lab RN to provide patient-centered nursing care across the continuum in a fast-paced interventional setting. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes during catheterizations, ablations, and related procedures.

Qualified candidates hold Wisconsin RN licensure with BLS and ACLS, and must complete BSN within five years if not already achieved.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN Licensure.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS).
• BSN Completion: Upon hire, any non-BSN nurse with less than one year of licensed Registered Nurse experience will be required to obtain a BSN within five years of hire.
• Cardiovascular / Special Procedures / Cath Lab: American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 3 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan care in collaboration with the interprofessional team using the nursing process and evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and team to provide high-quality care and outcomes.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise in the assigned specialty and perform all RN duties.
• Identify ways to improve patient experience, streamline care, and lower costs while maintaining quality.
• Mentor, engage, and develop staff to retain expert clinicians.
