Job summary

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Manager to lead our Fairfax Hospital Cath Lab, overseeing 24x7 operations and a high-volume program with a focus on safety, quality, and team development.

The role requires 5+ years in Cath Lab/IR with clinical leadership, BLS/ACLS, and Virginia RN or CV tech credentials. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a path to advance interventional cardiac services.

Qualifications

Must be an experienced Cath Lab professional with interventional/Cardiac skills.
Current BLS and ACLS through AHA required upon start.
RN or CV tech with interventional experience and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

Serve as the overall people leader for the department, fostering engagement, accountability, and safety.
Ensure recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and training processes supporting team success.
Establish continuing education programs and competency frameworks for professional growth.
Champion clear, consistent communication across department and stakeholders.
Drive quality, patient safety, and operational excellence across labs.
Lead process improvements while addressing safety and workflow concerns.
