Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Nurse Manager to supervise and coordinate administrative and operational activities in the assigned unit. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive KPIs, improve patient outcomes, and foster a culture of excellence.

This role requires a valid RN license and leadership experience in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include daily operational oversight, mentoring staff, ensuring safety, and implementing strategic initiatives across the department.

Qualifications

• RN license in state working or compact (required)
• BLS certification preferred on hire for BSMH locations
• Certificates and/or unit-specific certifications may be required (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provides daily operational oversight, management, and clinical support to the health care team.
• Serves as a professional role model, mentor, and clinical resource.
• Responsible for achieving department KPIs and identified outcomes.
• Models core safety behaviors and implements high reliability principles.
• Supports implementation of strategic initiatives.
