Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures the procedure room is adequately prepared, monitors instrument and supply levels, participates in staff meetings, and assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• ARRT-R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Additional Information

Compensation is approximately $40.00/hour, with exact starting salary determined at hire based on experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
