Job summary

Sherman Oaks Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare Foundation, seeks a Cardiovascular Lab professional to support invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures in a busy 24/7 setting in Sherman Oaks, CA.

The role involves scrubbing and monitoring during procedures, preparing the room, and assisting in all aspects of the cardiovascular lab. Requires ARRT-R/RCIS, BCLS, ACLS within 30 days, and strong computer skills. Per Diem, Days shift; competitive compensation and equal opportunity.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R and RCIS licensure required.
• Experience in a Cardiovascular Lab preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and ACLS within 30 days.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data in the cardiovascular lab.
• Ensure procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.
• Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies.
• Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
• Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. ARRT-R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.

2. Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred.

3. Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.

4. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.

5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.

6. Proficient computer skills.

Pay Transparency

Sherman Oaks Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $38.72 to $45.09. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
