Job summary

AdventHealth in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, is seeking a skilled cardiovascular interventional professional to support diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary, electrophysiology, peripheral, and structural heart interventions. You will coordinate with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency.

This role requires RN or radiology tech credentials, extensive cardiovascular knowledge, and the ability to learn and apply department policies

Qualifications

• Must have ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and vascular anatomy.
• Proficient hemodynamic monitoring and physiology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Verifies orders, facilitates implementation, and communicates with physicians as needed.
• Administers and evaluates treatments and medications according to policy and training.
• Responds to clinical emergencies and performs within scope of practice.
• Maintains and operates equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring setup and sterilization.
• Produces accurate and timely medical records for each patient.
• Trains and supervises new personnel and provides ongoing education.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintains accurate and secure medical records and follows documentation procedures.
