Job summary

MLK Community Healthcare in Los Angeles is seeking a Part-Time Cardiac Cath Lab/IR Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, individualized patient care across cardiology and interventional radiology services. The role emphasizes 10-hour accountability, coordination with perioperative and endoscopy teams, and monitoring through Lexiscan, CT, and MRI procedures as needed.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year telemetry/critical care experience and at least 6 months in Cath Lab, with a CA RN license,

Qualifications

• BSN or equivalent; ASN/diploma with Cath Lab/IR experience acceptable.
• Minimum 1 year Telemetry/ICU/ER nursing; 6 months Cath Lab experience.
• California RN license; BCLS and ACLS required; CCRN/CRRN preferred; sedation cert within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan, direct and coordinate high-quality patient care per Watson Model.
• Support Cardiology and IR; assist in conscious sedation and perioperative care.
• Monitor patients, ensure safety and regulatory compliance across departments.
