Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Rio Rancho, NM seeks a Cardio Invasive Specialist for a PRN position in the cardiovascular lab. You will assist with diagnostic/interventional procedures, prepare patients and equipment, and monitor status during cases.

Expect to operate imaging systems and collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure safety and quality patient care. The role requires an associate degree in a related field, RCIS/RCES certification (preferred), and ACLS/BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology or related field required.
• RCIS or RCES certification preferred; must obtain RCIS within 18 months of hire.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or within specified timelines.
• Three years of related cardiovascular lab experience may substitute for the degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and patient care functions in the Cardiovascular Laboratory during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Independently scrub, monitor/record, and circulate with medication and IV responsibilities after RCIS/RCES.
• Anticipate procedural needs to support safe, efficient case progression and patient safety.
• Respond to emergent situations and support life-saving interventions as needed.
