Position Purpose

This position is responsible for producing optimal diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. The incumbent is accountable for individualized patient care within the Diagnostic Interventional Department.

Nature and Scope

The incumbent provides radiology services to Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients and families. They operate interventional imaging equipment, verify physician's orders, ensure patient safety, assist physicians during procedures, and perform various related duties. Flexibility to work overtime, take call, or assist other modalities may be required.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Must have working knowledge of English; Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or RCIS, or completion of AMA-approved hospital-based program.
  • Experience: No experience required; preference for candidates with at least two years as a diagnostic Radiologic technologist or one year with additional training and hospital system experience.
  • Licenses: ARRT R.T. (R) certification or RCIS; Nevada Medical Radiography license.
  • Certifications: Preference for CV, CI, or VI Interventional Radiography; BLS required at hire; ACLS within six months.
  • Computer Skills: Ability to complete online learning and access online resources within 90 days.
