UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital in Highlands Ranch, CO is seeking an experienced RN for the Cath Lab/EP unit. You will provide direct patient care in a high-acuity environment, supporting safety, outcomes, and efficient use of resources.
The role requires 1+ years in cath lab or EP nursing, active RN licensure, and ACLS/BLS certifications. Shifts are days, onsite with an 80-hour pay-period, and a competitive compensation package.
1+ years of recent cath lab or EP RN experience strongly preferred. Location: UCHealth UCHlth Highlands Ranch Hosp, US:CO:Highlands Ranch Department: HRH Cath Lab Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $38.91 - $60.31 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
Provides direct patient care at a proficient level, in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Monitors the patient to maintain a safe environment, optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
Performs functions before procedure, including preparing the environment, orienting and assessing the patient, and reviewing patient's medical record to ensure safety checklist are complete. Responds to life threatening situations utilizing nursing standards and protocols for treatment. Handles critical and highly stressful situations, reacting decisively with efficiency and composure. Provides nursing care in a technically complex environment. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
