Job summary

Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL, is hiring a Cardiovascular Diagnostic Tech for the Cath Lab. The role is full-time with 40 hours weekly, day shift, potential overtime, and holiday coverage.

Responsibilities include assisting with diagnostic cardiac catheterization, pacemaker insertion support, and hemodynamic monitoring as needed. Cross-training to other areas is encouraged to meet facility needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of cardiovascular technology or related field preferred.
• RCIS preferred; willingness to cross-train.
• Completion of vascular technology program within first year preferred.
• Current BLS/ACLS and dysrhythmia training.
• Willingness to cross-train to other hospital areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologist during diagnostic cardiac catheterization and related studies.
• Provide scrub assistance and hemodynamic monitoring as needed.
• Maintain stroke alert readiness and perform stroke alert processes.
• Prepare patient for Endovascular treatment and transfer to procedure table.
• Cross-train to other areas to support hospital needs.
