Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab under supervision. The role requires RCIS or pending certification, current ACLS, and ARRT/TX RT(R) eligibility, with preferred cath/interventional radiology experience.

You will support physicians as a monitor tech and scrub tech, operate imaging equipment, monitor patient status, transport patients, and help with supplies and lab preparation.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in science or healthcare.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• RCIS certification within six months of hire.
• ARRT and TX RT(R) eligibility in lieu of RCIS.

Responsibilities

• Assist in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Assist physician as monitor tech during cath lab procedures and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Operate imaging equipment under direction of physician; scrub tech as needed.
• Monitor patient status during procedures and assist with supplies and transport.
