Saint Francis Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist I to provide advanced procedural support in the cath lab, including hemodynamic and electrophysiological monitoring and radiologic support.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program or documentation of RCIS credentials.
• ARRT - R and/or RCIS registration.
• CPR and ACLS within one year of employment.
• Minimum 1 year of cardiac catheterization laboratory experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in transporting patients to and from the department.
• Performs patient care in a sterile environment under physician and RN guidance.
• Cross-trained to monitor hemodynamic, electrophysiological, radiological procedures and scrubbing.
• Assists in other areas of cardiology as directed by the manager.
• Operates radiologic and hemodynamic monitoring equipment and inputs data in EPIC; analyzes findings.
• Assists with specialized equipment during procedures (IVUS, pressure wire, thrombectomy devices, etc.).
• Maintains aseptic environments and prepares procedure rooms each morning.
• Participates in PI and education; completes variance reports and supports process improvement.
