Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Washington is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in invasive cardiovascular procedures to assist with percutaneous diagnostic and interventional studies and open surgeries under physician supervision.

You will obtain optimal radiographs, monitor patients, manage equipment in an aseptic environment, and be available for on-call shifts as needed to support a high-quality cath lab program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a two-year invasive cardiovascular program.
• Successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technologist program.
• Upon hire: WA Radiologic Technologist license.
• Upon hire: WA Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification.
• Upon hire: ARRT Radiography certification.
• Upon hire: CVI CVIS Certification.
• Upon hire: BLS certification (AHA).
• Upon hire: ACLS certification (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Assist with percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures and open surgical procedures under physician supervision.
• Obtain optimal radiographs and assist the physician in an aseptic environment.
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in condition as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of complex cardiovascular equipment and supplies and assist with their use.
• Be available for on-call shifts as necessary.
