Job description

Position Summary

The Cardiovascular Technologist is a crucial role at MultiCare, responsible for providing technical support during a variety of diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures. In this role, you will ensure quality care, with a focus on the comfort and well‑being of patient and family.

Position Details

• FTE: 0.75
• Shift: Days 3 x 10 hour shifts + Call
• Schedule: Variable days Monday‑Friday with start times between 0600‑0800 per department needs

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care activities under the direction of the Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Registered Nurse
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment in assigned procedure room
• Perform required Cath Lab specific documentation
• Assemble, disassemble, and operate specialty equipment

Requirements

• Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification or be a cardiovascular invasive specialist, or currently enrolled in the second year of an Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist program or Radiologic Technologist program RCIS or commitment to obtain within 6 months of employment
• Current AHA, BLS and ACLS CPR certifications at time of hire
• RCIS or Cardiac Interventional Radiography certification within 2 years of employment

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $47.25–$78.09USD. Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
