Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lakeway in Lakeway, TX is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist. Under general supervision, you will assist physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, prepare rooms and equipment, and monitor patients.

Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital and hold RCIS or ARRT certification; training opportunities available for Rad Techs transitioning into the Cath Lab.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a related field is required.
• Graduation from an accredited program is required.
• US military training or 2 years cardiovascular lab experience may satisfy requirements.
• 2 years of related cardiovascular lab experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during catheterization and EP lab procedures.
• Prepare rooms and equipment, maintain sterile fields.
• Monitor ECG, pressures, and patient condition during procedures.
• Assist in RF/Crio ablation systems and 3D mapping and document procedures.
• Coordinate resources and participate in quality control initiatives.
• Transport patients to and from procedural areas.
