Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist. You will assist physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, prepare the lab, and monitor patients through complex interventions.

You will help with room setup, data collection, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. The role requires knowledge of invasive cardiac procedures and cardiovascular physiology, with on-call responsibilities as required by the facility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required; CV lab experience acceptable.
• Ability to perform invasive cardiac procedures with competency.
• Available for on-call per facility policy.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with catheterization and ablation procedures.
• Prepare room and equipment; monitor patient during procedures.
• Maintain sterile fields and inventory; ensure equipment is within date.
• Perform routine data documentation and support quality initiatives.
• Provide emergency procedures (CPR/defibrillation) as needed.
