Job summary

Memorial Health System is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech to assist and scrub in all Cardiac Cath Lab procedures under the supervision of the Cath Lab Manager. The role focuses on safety, quality, and teamwork to provide patient-centered care.

The candidate should have a cardiovascular technician program background, CPR required with ACLS preferred within 12-24 months of hire, and at least 1 year of patient care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited cardiovascular technician program preferred.
• Responsible for scrubbing and assisting on Cath Lab procedures.
• Able to manipulate radiology and clinical equipment within scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist and scrub on all Cardiac Cath Lab procedures.
• Document all pertinent patient information accurately.
• Operate imaging, electronic and computer equipment used in the department.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain universal precautions and radiation safety practices.
