The role involves assisting physicians during invasive cardiac procedures, ensuring sterile technique, and coordinating lab schedules with patient and physician needs. The candidate must graduate from a Medical Imaging Program, hold a WV radiography license and ARRT certification upon hire, and obtain BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Must possess current Radiography license as required by state board where services will be provided.
• National ARRT certification upon hire as applicable by state.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• State and federal background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and prepares medications under direct physician order for procedure.
• Monitors patient ECG and blood pressure and communicates findings to the physician.
• Coordinates the laboratory schedule with patient demand and physician schedules.
• Assists with inventory management and EMR documentation for procedures.
• Escorts patients to appropriate departments and maintains sterile technique.
