Job summary

RMH Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, WV seeks an experienced CV interventional radiologic technologist to support physicians during invasive cardiac and vascular procedures. You will prepare medications, maintain sterile technique, monitor patient status, and coordinate procedural schedules in a fast-paced lab.

The ideal candidate has a Medical Imaging Program, WV radiography license, ARRT certification, and at least one year of interventional radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Must possess current Radiography license as required by state boards.
• ARRT certification as applicable by location and hire requirements.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and prepares medications under direct physician order for procedures.
• Maintains sterile technique and ensures supplies for procedures are ready for use.
• Monitors patient ECG and blood pressure; documents and communicates findings to the physician.
• Answers calls courteously in the catheterization/vascular lab and identifies unit and self.
• Coordinates lab schedule with patient demand and physician availability.
• Act as code team lead for resuscitation under physician supervision as needed.
• Documents all procedures and uses EMR for accurate billing and inventory control.
• Ensures patient safety and escorts to appropriate departments.
• Instructs radiography students in positioning, technique selection, and equipment use.
