Overview

Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention. Pay Range: Hourly $49.81 - $74.81. Overlake is currently seeking an Interventional Cardio/Angio Technologist to assist Cardiologists and Radiologists in diagnostic and interventional procedures performed in the Interventional Radiology and Cath lab. The technologist will scrub, circulate, and monitor during invasive neurovascular and interventional radiology procedures, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

Part-Time 0.75 FTE / 30 hours per week. 10 Hour Shift / Days - includes call shifts for urgent cases, covering off hours (overnight & weekend).

Responsibilities

• Assist Cardiologists and Radiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Interventional Radiology and Cath lab, including scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring.
• Provide patient care in invasive vascular services, including angiograms with or without stent placement (cardiac, vascular, and cerebral), and complex neurointerventional procedures such as aneurysm coiling, AVM embolization, carotid artery stenting, intracranial stenting, and thrombectomy.
• Support IR patients for procedures such as nephrostomies, vertebral augmentation, and port placement.
• Demonstrate outstanding clinical skills, multitask effectively, stay organized, and deliver compassionate, efficient care.

Qualifications

• AA/BA/BS degree from an accredited Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology program required.
• ARRT Registry (or registry eligible) and State Certification as Radiologic Technologist (RT) required, OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) (or registry eligible) and State Certification as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (IS) required. If registry eligible, obtain applicable registration within ninety days of hire.
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification required upon hire.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Two years of related clinical experience preferred.
• Previous cardiac cath lab / interventional radiology / electrophysiology experience preferred.
• 24 CME credits required bi-annually.
• Mandatory AIDS education.
