Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, GA seeks an experienced cardiovascular interventional professional to support and perform imaging and procedural duties. You will guide instrument setup, monitor patient status, and assist physicians during complex cardiovascular interventions in a full-time daytime role.

You will train staff, document procedures, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while providing compassionate care and coordinating with the cardiovascular team. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation required.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy required.
• Knowledge of vascular anatomy required.
• Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring required.
• Ability to communicate with patients, families, and hospital staff required.
• Understanding of healthcare industry concepts and practices required.
• Ability to monitor vital signs using clinical equipment required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office required.
• Must read, write and speak English fluently.
• Preparing and positioning patients and selecting technical parameters accurately required.
• Preparing and administering contrast media and medications within scope required.
• Observing procedures and documenting findings per policy required.
• Adhering to radiation safety procedures required.
• Capable of performing angio, vascular and interventional imaging procedures required.
• Knowledge of interventional cardiology procedures preferred.
• Basic EKG interpretation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and operates equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures and ensures sterile setup.
• Produces accurate medical records for each patient and procedure.
• Trains and supervises new personnel with orientation and education.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement activities.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and safety regulations.
• Maintains accurate and secure medical records and documentation.
• Demonstrates leadership within the cardiovascular team.
• Assists with scheduled emergency calls and timely response.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures including coronary and interventional work.
• Verifies orders, facilitates implementation, and communicates with physicians as needed.
• Administers treatments and evaluates effectiveness per policy and training.
• Other duties as assigned and responds to clinical emergencies.
