Catering Supervisor - State Farm Arena/Levy Restaurants

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour. This is not a tipped position.

Schedule: Part-time, event-based schedule. Open availability preferred. Must be able to work mornings, evenings, and weekends, including all Hawks home games.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years' experience in a similar setting. They should have an outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with high-profile guests. The candidate must be able to problem-solve and make decisions with minimal guidance.

Job Summary:

The Catering Supervisor is responsible for directing staff, responding to guest needs, and ensuring smooth event operations. Responsibilities include reviewing event details with the director, supervising staff during check-ins and breakdowns, ensuring proper food display and safety, and maintaining service areas. The supervisor should understand menu content, facilitate guest seating, and oversee event setup and breakdown.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet with directors before events to review details
• Supervise staff during check-in and breakdown
• Ensure proper display and maintenance of food and beverages
• Know all menu offerings
• Establish rapport with guests and employ upselling techniques
• Assist guests with seating arrangements
• Complete event setup and breakdown within timelines
• Perform post-event inventory and restocking
• Create and close sales checks in POS system
• Understand all event paperwork and reports
• Maintain location appearance and cleanliness
• Follow safety and sanitation practices
• Adhere to responsible alcohol service policies
