Creative Dining is hiring immediately for a full-time Catering Supervisor.

• Location: 3201 Burton St SE Grand Rapids, MI 49546
• Schedule: Full-time schedule. Must be available to work mornings, mid-day, evenings, and weekends.
• Requirement: 1-2 years of experience required.
• Pay Range: $18-$20
• Position Reports to: Catering Manager

Job Summary

The Catering Supervisor manages operational tasks for catering events, ensuring excellent customer service, food presentation, and adherence to company standards.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

1. Event Supervision: Coordinate and supervise all catering activities under the Catering Manager's direction.
2. Collaboration: Work with production, conference services, and sales teams to execute events.
3. Logistics Management: Review event details with the Catering Manager and Executive Chef, manage inventories, and order products and equipment.
4. Team Coordination: Coordinate with catering staff and other departments for event setup, delivery, and breakdown.
5. Sanitation & Safety: Ensure sanitation, safety, and organization standards are met.
6. Record Keeping: Maintain records and prepare reports for event improvement.
7. Customer Communication: Address complaints, problems, and feedback from customers or staff.
8. Management Communication: Send event summaries to Catering Manager, detailing team, client, operational wins, and opportunities.
9. Equipment Management: Ensure catering equipment is returned and properly stored.
10. Client Interaction: Meet with event contacts and ensure all needs are met.
11. Event Execution: Oversee the execution of designated events, ensuring quality service.
12. Professional Service: Provide high-level service at all functions.
13. Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned.
