Job summary

Levy Restaurants, serving Iowa State University, is seeking a Suite Attendant to deliver and serve food at scheduled functions under supervision of the catering captain. You may drive a catering delivery truck, set up and break down events, and ensure the area is clean and ready for the next function.

You will maintain food temperatures, provide friendly service, and adhere to safety and sanitation policies throughout each event. Some roles may require valid permits and a driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license may be required; must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Arranges tables and decorations.
• Sets up and serves at functions; serves guests.
• Cleans location after event and returns equipment to facility.
• Maintains knowledge of complete menu and products.
• Follows safety and sanitation policies.
• Maintains courteous, friendly service at all times.
• Distributes and collects comment cards for catered functions.
• Stocks and maintains catering facility and equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
