Job summary

Responsibilities include maintaining safety standards, operating equipment, and supporting with spills and cleanups. A valid driver’s license and driving experience are required, with a flexible schedule and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of cooking experience required.
• 3+ years of driving experience required.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to pass attestation; MVR approval if driving Cone Health vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Produces food per recipe, on time and in accurate amounts.
• Helps calculate quantities to minimize waste.
• Supports with catering requests by hospital staff or customers within the prescribed time.
• Ensures prepared food meets standards for palatability, appearance, and temperature.
• Follows all safety regulations, reports hazards, and helps clean spills.
• Supports with operating and maintaining equipment per specifications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
