Job summary

Newk's Eatery is seeking a Catering Specialist to efficiently handle catering orders, food prep, and timely deliveries. This hourly partner role emphasizes friendly guest service and accurate order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers daytime hours, requires a valid drivers license, and includes opportunities for advancement within the franchise. Training on our NEWK's processes ensures quality and consistency across locations.

Responsibilities

• Execute catering orders from receipt to delivery.
• Prepare food orders and assemble catering packs.
• Deliver catering orders and oversee accuracy.
• Assist with daily restaurant duties when catering activity slows.
• Prepare tea for deliveries and maintain presentation.
• Support management with other duties as needed.

Job description

The Catering Specialist is an hourly partner position, that can be considered to be a promoted employee of NEWK's or an applicant with catering preparation experience. This is a mostly morning/daytime position. POSITION REQUIRES A DRIVER'S LICENSE AND CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.

A Catering Specialist Is Responsible For

• Efficiently executing the catering order process from receiving orders, preparing food orders, & delivering orders.
• All the functions that are related to ensuring a successful day of catering.
• Includes food prep, food presentation, and food delivery.
• Assembling the catering orders.
• Checking orders to ensure accuracy and successfully implement the NEWK's Accuracy Plan.
• Making tea necessary for deliveries.
• When deliveries and catering assembly are finished for the day, hourly responsibilities within restaurant are required.
• Other comparable duties as asked by management

Physical Requirements

• Must be friendly, polite, accommodating to needs of guests, and always on time.
• Extensive standing without breaks.
• Effective communication with peers, managers and guests.
