TFB Catering is seeking a Sous Chef to join our talented team! Our company utilizes the bounty of Lancaster County to provide an eclectic menu of both local and international cuisine with a rock and roll flair. We are a full-service catering company that provides an exceptional experience for our clients in social, corporate, and wedding events. We can execute events from 20 to 3000 guests! Join a growing team that is passionate about pushing the boundaries of culinary excellence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in research and development of new menu items.
  2. Oversee daily and weekly prep activities.
  3. Train and develop staff.
  4. Manage inventory.
  5. Prepare menu items in cooperation with the Executive Chef and kitchen staff.
  6. Follow and maintain food safety protocols.
  7. Communicate effectively with managers and departments.
  8. Assist in preparing both on-site and off-site events.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of culinary experience.
  2. Team-oriented attitude.
  3. Reliable transportation.
  4. Love of food and people.
  5. Passion for hospitality.
  6. Technical knowledge of food and food safety.
  7. Food Safe Certified.
  8. Experience with events.
