Job Description

The Catering Service Worker Lead is responsible for supervising and supporting the planning of catering events of varying sizes and levels at both central and satellite locations. Ensures consistent achievement of all catering brand standards and initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develops and maintains a safety culture that promotes a work environment where no one gets hurt. Supervises catering operations, including staff coordination, rental equipment, set-up, preparation, service, and breakdown of catered foods, beverages, and events of varying size and complexity.
  2. Books events, selects and costs menu items, and handles pricing as needed.
  3. Assists with hiring, discipline, and performance reviews.
  4. Coordinates activities with other internal departments, participates in management team meetings, and interfaces with vendors and key service users within the client organization.
  5. Represents Aramark and the client at meetings and events, facilitating external customer relations.
  6. Ensures sanitation, organization, and safety standards are met through checklists, supervision, and follow-up.
  7. Participates in and helps develop and implement catering training programs for hourly, part-time, and student employees.
  8. Supports the implementation and adherence to all Aramark OpX Catering initiatives and guidelines.
