Job summary

Aramark, a leading food service provider, seeks a full-time Food Service Supervisor in Rosemont, IL to lead a team alongside a manager and ensure smooth daily operations. You will oversee staff, coordinate production, and uphold safety and quality standards while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course within first year.
• Knowledge of operating an cost-effective program.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and production packets.
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintain food production safety and quality according to policies.
• Store foods safely in a safe, organized environment.
• Maintain serving schedules per menu and Aramark policies.
• Maintain a sanitary department per health codes.
• Maintain weekly inventory.
• May prepare orders to ensure accurate production.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel; promote growth and teamwork.
• Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment.
• Train/mentor other food service workers.
• Maintain equipment maintenance logs.
• Complete food safety/temperature logs with corrective action.
• Perform preventative maintenance checklist.
• Recommend replacement of existing equipment.
• Proficiency in multi-tasking.
• Fill in for absent employees.
• Coordinate catering events; ensure on-time delivery.
• Work occasional night and weekend catered events.
• Attend food service meetings.
• Maintain staff communication.
• May perform cashier duties.
• Promote good public relations.
