**Job Description**

Responsible for supervising, training, and managing the food service operation. Ensure that appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served.

**Job Responsibilities**

  1. Develops and is accountable for a safety culture that creates a work environment where no one gets hurt. Directly supervises catering operations, including duties such as staff coordination, rental equipment management, set-up, preparation, service, and breakdown of catered foods, beverages, and events of varying size and complexity.
  2. Handles booking of events, selecting and costing menu items, and pricing as needed.
  3. Coordinates activities with other internal departments. Participates in management team meetings. Interfaces with vendors and key service users within the client organization.
  4. Facilitates external customer relations; represents Aramark and the client at meetings and events.
  5. Ensures sanitation, organization, and safety standards are met through checklists, supervision, and follow-up.
  6. Participates in catering training programs; helps develop and implement training for hourly, part-time, and student employees.
  7. Assists in implementing and adhering to all Aramark Catering initiatives and guidelines.
  8. Prior experience with event booking is preferred.
