Job Description

The Catering Services Manager is a leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering solutions and special events at the location. This role involves leading the Catering team to successfully execute events and catering requests in line with customer expectations and service standards.

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute catering solutions tailored to customer needs.
2. Build and maintain effective client and customer relationships.
3. Ensure consistent quality in planning and executing events.
4. Facilitate the delivery of food and setup of events based on banquet event orders.
5. Assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions.
6. Train and lead catering employees to adhere to catering and event standards, ensuring quality in presentation.
7. Provide Banquet Event Orders to the team and ensure all requests are met prior to events.
8. Manage food and labor targets effectively.
9. Oversee the execution of catering events of various sizes, including staffing and management.
10. Ensure accurate reporting of catering revenue, expenses, and receivables.
11. Recruit, train, schedule, and develop team members.
12. Ensure compliance with all food, occupational, and environmental safety policies.

Qualifications

1. At least 2 years of relevant experience.
2. Management or supervisory experience preferred.
3. Experience in events, hospitality, and catering preferred.
4. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
5. Availability to work event-based hours.
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required.
8. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
9. Ability to stand for extended periods.
