The Catering Services Coordinator is responsible for supervising and supporting the Catering Director in planning catering events of varying sizes and levels at both central and satellite locations. Ensures that all catering brand standards and initiatives are consistently achieved.

Job Responsibilities

1. Develops and is accountable for a safety culture that creates a work environment where no one gets hurt.
2. Directly supervises catering operations, including staff coordination, rental equipment, set-up, preparation, service, and breakdown of catered foods, beverages, and events of varying size and complexity.
3. Books events, selects and costs menu items, and handles pricing as needed.
4. Assists with hiring, coaching, and performance reviews.
5. Coordinates activities with other internal departments.
6. Participates in management team meetings.
7. Collaborates with vendors and key service users within the client organization.
8. Facilitates external customer relations; represents Aramark and the client at all meetings and events.
9. Ensures appropriate sanitation, organization, and safety standards are met using checklists, supervision, and follow-up.
10. Participates in all catering training programs and helps develop and implement training for hourly, part-time, and student employees.
11. Aids in implementing and adhering to all Aramark Catering initiatives and guidelines.
