Job summary

Levy Restaurants is seeking a Catering Server for the University of Michigan location. You will take food and beverage orders, deliver items to dining guests, and help ensure a smooth service with attention to detail and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, identifying menu items/allergens, and coordinating with kitchen staff to fulfill orders while upholding sanitation and safety standards. Excellent communication and a friendly, flexible attitude are required.

Qualifications

• Front-of-house service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to explain menu items and pairings to guests.
• Attention to sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders following established steps of service.
• Deliver orders promptly and maintain sanitation standards; assist with guest requests.
• Advise guests on menu items and ingredients; accommodate dietary restrictions when possible.
• Coordinate with back-of-house staff to ensure correct orders and special requests are fulfilled.
• Maintain professional conduct, handle cash accurately, and ensure a clean dining environment.
