Job summary

Pranzi Catering & Events is seeking a part-time Catering Server to join our team and work at wedding and event venues across Southern New England. This in-person role requires weekend availability and the ability to stand, carry a tray, and serve guests throughout events in Providence and surrounding areas.

You will handle event setup, service duties, and breakdown, work closely with kitchen staff, maintain sanitary standards, and ensure guests have a memorable experience while following health

Qualifications

• Weekend availability required; shifts include Saturdays and Sundays.
• Reliable transportation to work across Rhode Island venues.
• Must have an email address and a working cell phone for texting.
• TIPS certification is required.
• Ability to stand, carry a tray, and walk for 8 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Refill beverages and ensure guests' needs are met throughout the event.
• Clear used dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Handle food and beverages in a sanitary manner.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to the supervisor.
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and other event equipment.
• Set up food and beverage stations according to event specifications.
• Ensure all serving areas are clean and presentable before guests arrive.

EVENT SETUP

• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and other event equipment.
• Set up food and beverage stations according to event specifications.
• Ensure all serving areas are clean and presentable before guests arrive.

SERVICE DUTIES

• Greet guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
