Job summary

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s University Catering team is seeking a motivated Catering Server to join our team and help create memorable events through excellent service and teamwork. You will supervise catering event operations, including setup, service, and cleanup, while delivering a welcoming dining experience for guests.

As a full-time member, you will hire, schedule, train, and lead student staff; assist with menu planning and event coordination; and help manage transportation,

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus three years catering, hospitality, or restaurant experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate staff.
• Food handlers permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
