Job Description

Plan, organize, and develop the food and beverage services of organizations and businesses, while meeting customer expectations, food and hygiene standards, and financial targets. Responsible for the combined performance of the team and for ensuring that everyone within their team reaches their targets.

  • Spend time negotiating with the client organization, assessing its requirements, and ensuring satisfaction with the service delivered.
  • Recruit and train permanent and casual staff.
  • Organize, lead, and motivate the catering team.
  • Communicate daily with the management team, plan work schedules, and check client requirements.
  • Handle customer complaints and inquiries.
  • Take responsibility for the sales and marketing of the conference center, including pricing, promotions, image/brand, and profile.
  • Research markets to identify new business opportunities; negotiate with external service providers and suppliers as needed.
  • Plan menus in consultation with chefs.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly observed.
  • Manage budgeting and establish financial targets and forecasts.
  • Finalize all budget event orders for distribution to operating departments.
  • Track and ensure all BEOs and authorized forms are received and signed by clients.
