Position Summary/Job Duties:

Steenbock’s on Orchard is located in the state-of-the-art Wisconsin Institute for Discovery building in the heart of the UW-Madison campus. In spring of 2022, Steenbock’s reopened their doors with a fully remodeled dining room and bar. Steenbock’s also operates a coffee shop, Aldo’s Café, and a full-service catering business. Compensation: $18-$22/hour

About Position:

The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc. This position is responsible for undertaking basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc. The Prep cook prepares simple dishes such as salads, entrees etc. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash.
