Job Description

The Catering Services Manager is a leadership position which leads all aspects of catering solutions and special events at Rocket Arena. This position will lead the Premium team to complete catering and fine dining delivery requests in line with client and guests expectations and service standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the catering operation with a focus on menu planning to event execution, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for clients and guests
• This role requires a blend of creativity, organizational skills and excellent abilities to manage team members and client expectations
• Help Develop and complete catering and fine dining solutions to meet guest and clients needs
• Develop and maintain effective client and guest rapport
• Deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events
• Facilitate the delivery of prepared food and set up of events crafted from banquet event orders
• Assist guests and clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions to guests and clients’ needs
• Train and lead team members to ensure catering and event standards are followed ensuring quality in final presentation
• Provide completed banquet event orders to team and provide quality assurance all requests are met prior to event
• Responsible for execution of catering events of varied size and scope including team members
• Recruit, train, schedule and develop team members
• Ensure compliance with all food, occupational, and environmental safety policies

Qualifications

• Requires at least 2 years of experience
• Prior experience in a front-of-housemanagement role preferred
• Previous experience in events and hospitality preferred
• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Available to work event-based hours, long days, nights, weekends and some holidays
• Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Complete Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
